Thursday's Gratitude Post

Today I am Grateful for the Men and Women in any branch of Military....
Past, Present, and Future.
I know that our country is free because of the bravery of those who fight for it.
Remember to thank a Soldier for their service.
Support Our Troops
Or get out of this Country =]
Alright so I really hate when people try to tell me what to do, especially boys!  So i was on photobucket and I found this. I just thought it was super funny.

Saturday's Gratitude post

I'm grateful that I was able to go to BEFY
(Best of Especially for Youth).
The speakers were amazing and really funny.
I learned a lot from both of them and realized that I have a few things that I should work on.
John Hilton the Third spoke first.
He spoke one "Dare Not To Compare"
Hank Smith spoke last.
He spoke on "Breaking Up With the World"
He was sooo funny! I think I laughed the entire time.
I think he gave us some of the greatest break up lines to use on BFs or GFs.

After the talks we had a subway dinner and a huge dance:)

Friday's Gratitude post

Halloween Weekend

For Halloween I dressed up as a 50's girl.:)
Since Halloween was on Sunday I only went to my church's annual Halloween Ward Truck-or-Treat Party.
Courtney and Jer brought Landon to the Trunk-or-Treat.   Landon was adorable as a Dinosaur:)
Then on Sunday, Halloween, Brittany and Steve came over with the kids:)  They were sooo cute!  Tessa was a little ladybug and Dublin was a Dinosaur/Dragon.  He changed his answer frequently lol.(I didn't really get any pictures. My camera died:/)

Landon Bug is sooo cute!!!!  But the little stinker made me bribe him, with a candy bar, to give me a hug and kiss goodbye.

Kenny Swenny and myself

Katie and I

After the ward party Kenny and I decided to go to Target. Which is one of our favorite stores.  We were in there for the longest time. He was just pushing me around on the cart.  We caught up on our celebrity gossip.
It was funny to see everyone staring at us because we were the only ones in costumes.
And I rode on the front of the cart
Kenny Pushed the cart

I got the cutest dollar bin heart glasses. I <3 them!
The end of the night:)

50's Diner

I had to take photos with Marilyn and Elvis:)
So I've always wanted to eat at a 50's diner and I finally got to do it this summer.
While I was back in Colorado my grandparents took me:)
It was soo cool they had a bunch of vintage car and Elvis books laying on the booths.
It was a lot of fun and I want to go to another 50's diner soon!
(Hey B going up to Utah at Thanksgiving we should finally stop at Peggy Sue's Diner... Ya?)

Because he makes me smile:)

If you're really in love, it doesn't matter what he looks like or how he holds your hand. It just matters that he holds you tight when you need him and that you can trust him with your entire life.
I love you, not for what you are, but for what I am when I am with you.

At this moment there are 6,470,818,671 people in the world. Six billion people in the world, six billion souls. And sometimes all we need is One:)

Sue's Corner

So Blogger wouldn't let me load this to my last post so here is one of my favorite clips:)

New Obsession

Glee!!!

Paul told me that I was a GLEEK! LOL

 My absolute favorite character.
She's so mean and funny:)
Sue Sylvester: Sometimes people ask me, "Sue, how come you're so sensitive to minorities?" Well, I'll tell you why: because I know firsthand how hard it is to struggle as a minority in America today. I'm 1/16th Comanche Indian. In fact, I like minorities so much, I'm thinking of moving to California to become one.

Sue Sylvester: [Writing in her journal] Dear Journal. Feeling listless again today. It began at dawn, when I tried to make a smoothie out of beef bones, breaking my juicer. And then at Cheerios practice, disaster! It was unmistakable. It was like spotting the first spark on the Hindenburg. A quiver! That quiver will lose us Nationals. And without a championship, I'll lose my endorsements. And without those endorsements, I won't be able to buy my hovercraft. Glee Club. Every time I try to destroy that clutch of scab-eating mouth-breathers, it only comes back stronger, like some sexually-ambiguous horror movie villain. Here I am, about to turn 30, and I've sacrificed everything, only to be shanghaied by the bi-curious machinations of a cabal of doughy, misshapen teens. Am I missing something, Journal? Is it me? Of course it's not me. It's Will Schuester! What is it about him, Journal? Is it the arrogant smirk? Is it the store-bought home perm? It's coming clear to me now. If I can't destroy the club, I will have to destroy the man.

Sue Sylvester: Let me break this down for you, okay? I empower my Cheerios to be champions. Do they go on to college? I don't know... I don't care. Should they learn Spanish?... Sure, if they want to become dishwashers and gardeners. But if they wanna be bankers and lawyers and captains of industry, the most important lesson they can possibly learn is how to do a round-off!

College Apps

So I started filling out college applications yesterday and a little today.
The questions are pretty but so much is riding on my answer and that makes me nervous.
The essay questions are:
  1. Describe any special interests and/or passions and give examples of how you have developed knowledge and/or creativity in these areas.
  2. Describe a setback you have encountered in your life. Explain how you have handled the situation and what you have learned from it.
And honestly I can't even think about what I am passionate about or what has been a major setback.

Brandon and Myra's Wedding

Beginning the evening.
THis was Brian's first time ever driving with my parents and I think he was kinda scared but he thought it was funny. (Well I guess every thinks driving with my mom is funny.)
I say he was scared because my mother was driving like a MANIAC. She was speeding and passing on T where there are double lines. If she was taking a driving test she would have failed immediately. I think we made it to Courtney's house in a record time. We left Courtney's house a little late. My dad was already kinda upset about that. It got worse when we hit solid traffic because of a couple car accidents. We waited in traffic moving maybe 5 miles in 45 minutes. My dad was pissed and cussing by then. Brian just thought it was funny though. We almost missed the ship because of traffic but Brandon was kind enough to have the ship wait for us. So we made it! After that fiasco we were able to enjoy Brandon and Myra's ceremony. It was pretty and really simple.
After the ceremony my Aunt Heather asked Brian when he and I were getting married. He was a really good sport and thought it was funny. He just answered back IDK.

The flower toss! She wrapped each daisy in tin foil and one of the daisies had a ribbon tied around it. If you got the daisy with the ribbon you are the next to be married.
Proof that I didn't jump or dive for it.
I had joked about me catching the flower but didn't think I would. But I caught it. I think the look on my mom's face was funny to say the least. With Myra after catching the flower.Brandon tossing the garterYes, Brian caught the garter. My mom's face was priceless! I really couldn't stop laughing.
I had to assure my mom that she had nothing to worry about. That I had no plans of marrying soon.
Anyways, it was a fun night and I was glad that I got to go:)
