So Brian proposed on Saturday!!!!
I really wasn't expecting it because I thought he would do it over Thanksgiving break.
I was being pretty lazy on Saturday. Doing laundry and homework.
Brian texted me and told me to get ready because we were going to do something fun.
He always has a ton of homework and so most of our nights are spent sitting on the couch doing homework and maybe watching a movie.
I got ready and when he got here he handed me a note with a clue.
It said something to the effect of we were going on a scavenger hunt.
(For the places to make sense you need to know that I came and visited him at school last fall. We went and fed the ducks at the duck pond. We went geocashing and found the cutest little secluded spot on the bank of the river. And this semester we took photos in the orchard. The temple was supposed to reference where we will be going soon.)
It sent me to the duck pond. I found a loaf of bread and had to feed the ducks. At the bottom of the bag I found my next clue and a GPS for geocashing.
This led me to the first geocash that we found.
In the bushes I found a note that led me to the apple orchard.
At the apple orchard I found a clue that led me to the temple.
We went to the temple and in the front of the temple he proposed.
It was so sweet, I turned around and Brian was on one knee.
I wish I had a picture of it!
He laughed and said he was going to have a little speech but he knew once I saw him on one knee I wouldn't remember.
And it is true I don't really remember anything he said.
I just remember kissing him and saying yes!
Of course there were tears that started as soon as I saw him on one knee.
I'm so excited to marry him.
April 7 seems like a lifetime away!
